The Steel Wheels

Red Wing Academy is a four-day intensive music camp hosted by Eric Brubaker of The Steel Wheels.  Held each year in the days leading up to the Red Wing Roots Festival, Red Wing Academy is a unique learning experience for young musicians of all skill levels. Courses are offered in violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, and banjo and are all taught by experienced music teachers and members of The Steel Wheels. The curriculum includes group classes, mini lessons, improv and jam sessions, technique development, and stage performance training, culminating in a live performance with The Steel Wheels at the Red Wing Roots Music Festival. Each camper receives a T-shirt and a Friday day pass to the festival, with options to upgrade to a weekend pass.
